These are surviving relics from our forebears, they have witnessed the growth of Singapore from a swampy mangrove to what we are today. Like the traditional saying goes, ‘when one drinks water, one should reflect on the source’. Our sources are getting demolished or rebuilt as the years passes, please do visit these places before they get erased, especially those that have not been gazetted by the Monuments board!
