Calling for volunteer videocam hobbyists.  I am beginning to realise that there are many age-old ceremonies that come along with the various old temples in Singapore. This year, I am hoping to include some live footages of interesting ceremonies of the various dialect groups on this weblog. Those of you who would like to use your spare time documenting rituals and ceremonies of the various dialect groups in Singapore, please don’t hesitate to send me an email. Thanks.

  1. Wow, great works you guys have here! I have been interested in finding out more about the history and heritage of Southeast Asian Chinese and your site offers very good write-ups and pictures.
Just a few days ago, I had dinner with an octogenarian and she is a descendant of Tan Yeok Nee. It was interesting to hear her talk about her family.
